Church Leadership

A local United Methodist church is lead by a group of members referred to as a church council. The Pastor is included in discussions and decision making and together they lead the church. A typical church council is made up of a Lay Leader, Council President, Trustees, as well as committee leaders for worship, mission, outreach, congregational care, and other areas of ministry.
